Shamrocks

Enter a world of the mysticism of Ireland. Three seems to be Ireland’s magic number. The Shamrock represents this sacred number. Mother, maiden, Crone or Faith, Hope and Charity or for the Irish Catholics – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Numbers played an important role in Celtic symbolism. The number three multiplies to nine, which is sacred to Brigit who is both a pre-christian symbol and an Irish Catholic saint. Three may have signified totality: past, present and future OR earth, sky and underworld.
